Koblenz International Guitar Competition »Hubert Käppel« 2011

All active and passive Koblenz Guitar Festival participants are entitled to compete, without age limit.

1st round: 10 min free choice programme 2nd round: 15 min free choice programme Final round: 30 min free choice programme

Pieces played in one round cannot be repeated in any other round. The programme must be sent before Monday 1 June 2011 to info@koblenzguitarfestival.de

A total of more than 20,000 euro in prizes:

1st Prize: 3000 euro cash, a concert in Carnegie Hall New York City + $1000 stipend and travel/accommoda- tion expenses provided by D‘Addario & Company and the D’Addario Music Foundation along with a three-year supp- ly of D‘Addario strings (52 sets a year), CD production with KSG EXAUDIO, 10 concerts in Germany with a payment of 500 euro per concert including the record release concert at the 20th Koblenz International Guitar Festival 2012.

2nd Prize: 2000 euro, a three-year supply of D‘Addario strings (26 sets a year).

3rd Prize: 1000 euro, a three-year supply of D‘Addario strings (26 sets a year).

Non-prizewinning finalists will each receive 500 euro and a Finalist‘s Certificate.
