Paul Gaugain (1848-1903) ritrae l'amico Francisco Durrio (1868-1940) (scultore e collezionista delle prime opere del pittore parigino) in vesti polinesiane, essendo l'autore rientrato da poco dal suo primo soggiorno soggiorno a Tahiti. L'opera, datata 1894, è conservata alla National Gallery di Londra.

 

Anche qui con la postura non ci siamo proprio ;)
