Derivando dalla natura tutta la loro conoscenza, l'unica maniera che avevano per capire ed accettare una persona era trovare una qualche somiglianza fisica o caratteriale in un animale, solo allora potevano capire e scegliere di accettare o no un estraneo, e Jung era orso, per come saliva le scale fatte di corda per raggiungere le capanne sugli alberi.
